Trick Your Kicks ~ Instructions

This kit works for leather or faux-leather sneakers with a smooth logo or stripe area (think swooshes, stripes & side panels).

Your kit includes: wax pencil, glue, rhinestones in your chosen colorway, a tray, and replacement laces to match your vibe.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Prep your canvas. Scuff the areas to be bedazzled with the
   included heart-shaped buffer.  Then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and
   let it dry completely. Clean, textured shoe = stones that stay put.
   Stuff the toe with paper towels so you have a firm surface to press
   against.
2. Outline first. Apply glue in small sections and place stones along
   the edge of your swoosh, stripes, or panel. This is your border — take
   your time here, it sets the shape for everything else.
3. Fill it in. Work in small glue sections from the outline inward.
   For a solid look, nestle stones close in a honeycomb fill; for an
   ombre, blend your colors as you go and don't overthink the transition…
   gradients are forgiving!
4. Mind the curves. Sneakers bend! On curvy spots (near the toe,
   around the heel), use your smaller stones — they hug the shape better
   and won't pop off when you walk.
5. Fix and finish. Use small detail stones to fill any gaps or uneven
   spots. Swap in your new laces, step back, and admire your work!

A few notes:

Glue initially dries quickly & takes 24–48 hours to fully cure. Resist
the urge to wear them out that night — we know, it's hard.

Keep glue off your picker, it'll make the rhinestones less sparkly.
Isopropyl alcohol on a paper towel will remove glue smudges if needed.

Once cured, spot-clean only — no washing machine for these beauties!
